Our boutique hostel is a super self-catering venue. Available for exclusive group hire only, our hostel gives you and your family or friends the flexibility and space to explore at your own pace. We are located right in the middle of Windermere village in the Lake District.

We are in a central village location, and just a 1-minute walk from Windermere train and bus stations. On arrival, you’ll have the code for the keybox to let yourself in and settle with our welcome hamper for a ‘reet Cumbrian’ welcome!
Just a walk from the doorstep you will find fells and England’s favourite lake as well as local shopping. Take a boat trip on Lake Windermere, enjoy a bracing hike up our majestic fells such as Orrest Head, adventure by bike through shaded woodlands or simply explore the independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants in our picturesque towns and villages.
Even without a car, exploring more of the Lake District is as easy as pie, as Windermere is a central transport hub with buses, including the popular 555 bus route to Keswick, Grasmere and Kendal.

The hostel is brilliant for large family groups / friends to book out. Super for activity groups, multigen groups, corporate groups, all ages welcome. The rooms are characterful and we have 5 star enhanced hygiene standard. 5 star mattresses & bedding. The beds are super comfortable – everyone loves them. A fantastic location for Windermere too, with many cafes, pubs and outdoor walks on your doorstep.
