Covid Statement

Our guest, staff and community safety is our number one priority. Current Government Guidance means we are unable to open until further notice. Once we are authorised to open, we will be open and ready to welcome you. Naturally, we will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed right here.

If you are planning a visit to the Hostel we want to reassure you of the many additional steps we have taken to ensure your safety and peace of mind. From booking and deposits policies to our strict cleaning regime we hope the answers to any questions you may have are below. If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact us here.

Staying safe

We’ve put in lots of extra procedures to help keep you safe. All guests will be temperature checked on arrival and masks and social distancing will be compulsory throughout the public spaces. The full list of our extra steps is below and although some things go without saying, but just in case we’ll say them anyway. If you are displaying any symptoms – don’t come! Before you book please check our Covid Booking Policy.

  1. Physical Distancing.  All guests will be advised to maintain the 2m distance away from other groups of people not in their travel group.
  2. Hand Sanitiser dispensers, at the front door and on first floor.
  3. House Signage.  There are health and hygiene reminders throughout the property.
  4. Masks are to be worn at all times when moving around the property to protect yourself and others.
  5. Any guests who begin experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 since arriving at the property must notify us immediately, we will then follow the guidance given by our local authority which may mean the end to your stay with us. In this instance a refund would not be available.
  6. Case notification.  If we are alerted to a presumptive case of COVID-19 at the Hostel, we will work with the local Government authorities and take all appropriate actions recommended.
